Initial consultations, in certain circumstances, may be available via video conferencing.

When you sign up with West Metro Home Watch, you will receive monitoring services of the interior and exterior of your house or interior of your condo. WMHW will send you a written report soon after each visit, which will include photos of any problems or areas of concern. Services can be provided on a schedule of your choosing and one that meets your insurance requirements if you are gone for an extended period of time. See pricing for options.
Home Monitoring Visits
Basic (Routine) Exterior Inspection
Walk exterior perimeter of the home, checking for any post-storm damage or signs of damage to exterior of home (e.g., shingles, siding, screens, downspouts)
Check for any signs of vandalism
Check that storage sheds and doors are locked
Check that snow removal services or lawn and landscaping care have been provided
Remove garbage, flyers, or other stray items found on property
Check outdoor faucets (seasonally appropriate)

Basic (Routine) Interior Inspection
Walk entire interior of house including basement and garage
Ensure doors and windows are secure
Check security system
If water is kept on, run water in sinks, dishwashers, tubs, toilets, and washing machines and check for any leaks
Check that furnace or A/C is running and set to client’s desired heating or cooling temperature
Check for signs of plumbing leaks or water damage on ceilings, floors, windows, and baseboards, and around mechanical devices (water heater, sump pump)
Change furnace filters if needed
Check inside circuit breakers in house or garage for any tripped breakers
Check refrigerators, freezers, and stove to make sure everything is running properly
Check interior lights on timed devices, change bulbs if needed, Checking of exterior timed lights is a service offered under concierge services
Visually check for evidence of rodents or pest
